This selection is extremely approachable and satisfying. This is a bottle for everyone by comparison to the rest of the 21c Selects. Bottled at the original proof which Old Forester was presented as in 1870, this bourbon boasts the traditional Old Forester mash bill of 72% Corn, 18% Rye, 10% Malted Barley. This barrel was aged on the Brown Forman Distillery Campus in Shively, KY in Warehouse H, 7th Floor, Row 46, Rack #2. Barrel #3330. “There is nothing wrong with sticking with the standard mash bill of a Kentucky original like Old Forester” Says Chea Beckley, Area Beverage Manager at 21c “This is the first bottling of the new Old Forester Single Barrel packaging in the “Whiskey Row” bottle style and wears the label proudly”
How should I drink it? A splash of water brings out the buttercream and clove flavors perfectly. Also a great bourbon for a cocktail like Clearance, Clarence.
