Nick Fisherkeller joined Lockbox to head up the kitchen in the fall of 2021. Prior to that he held positions at Julep Cup and Portofino. His hands-on leadership approach and playful, exploratory culinary style are evident in the new Lockbox experience.
A Philadelphia native, Rita moved to Lexington in 2016. She has a natural instinct for the service industry and immediately found comfort in the local restaurant scene. After several years managing Coles 735 Main and its sister restaurant Epping’s on Eastside, Rita is invigorated to bring her charm to Lockbox.

Born and raised in Baltimore, Jake moved to Lexington in 2020 to continue his education at the University of Kentucky. While in Baltimore, he worked closely with incredible mentors and colleagues for the NoHo Hospitality Group since 2018. There, he fell in love with the craft beverage industry, from eclectic and classic cocktails to the many local breweries and distilleries. He strives to make beautiful libations as he loves to make bar guests smile and gain an experience through a cocktail.
Upon graduation, Jake plans to further his career in the beverage industry by stepping into the production side of distilling. He hopes to own and operate his own small distillery well down the road with a focus on experimental gin, rye, and amaro. Come talk alcohol with him; he is always looking to expand his own knowledge while helping to educate others!
